Clapham IV

This was a collaborative project involving 3 of the 4 houses in our block. One of our neighbours had been unable to sell her house, and I suggested that if we all updated our brick walls, and added some smart ironwork this would improve the look of the road as well as keep the costs down. We sourced traditional London Stock bricks, reclaimed from the Battersea Power Station site and commissioned the railings from a London based architectural metalworkers Ironman Developments Ltd. We sourced the spearhead caps from Brooks forgings; pier caps from Cranborne Stone and used reclaimed York stone for the thresholds. We have received so many compliments, and my neighbour was able to sell her house within 2 months of our completion!
