Lisson Grove: The client moved to this penthouse from the 5 bedroom house we had decorated for her in 2012. This gave us the opportunity to refresh and reuse her sofas, curtains, Neisha Crosland rug, lamps and vintage lighting as well as introduce some new pieces and antiques. We created some shelving made from 1950s blue ribbed glass, commissioned some handblown British pendants from Rothschild & Bickers; barstools from Amode, a stool from Clockhouse furniture, furniture from Julian Chichester and sourced bedsides from Chelsea Textiles. We introduced wool sateens from Stereo and Fox Linton, as well as stunning naturally printed linens by Fermoie and Rapture & Wright. We kept the kitchen, and carpets but added a cornice to smooth out an ugly ceiling line. We disguised a cylinder cupboard with wallpaper from Altfield and furnished the remaining fitted wardrobes with customised interiors. We enjoyed rehanging her art and using it as the starting point for the colour schemes. We engaged Louisa Allen for the terraced garden.
